I-10 Speedway, is holding it’s INEX National Qualifier right here in Blythe on March 18th and 19th, 2011!
The quarter mile paved oval, located at the Colorado River Fairgrounds in Blythe, California, will treat its fans to a full evening of action from the Legend and Bandolero divisions who will be competing for national points this weekend. Also on the schedule is a $1,000 to win main event from the Gene Price Motorsports Late Model River Series as well as action from the always fun Factory Stocks.
Greatly resembling roadsters from the 1930′s and 1940′s, the Legend cars will take center stage this weekend while seeing action on both Friday and Saturday night. These high speed roadsters are powered by 1,250 cc Yamaha Motorcycle engines that are capable of producing up to 122 horsepower. Because the cars are light in weight, 1,300 pounds including the driver, they literally fly around a race track at speeds compatible to full powered late model stock cars.
This is going to be a great weekend, so come out and see this amazing event. You won’t want to miss it!
